About the Event
This class will focus on basic trust accounting procedures, such as terminology, types of fees that Ohio lawyers may accept, and how to account for different types of fees. During the class, participants will learn about and create required trust account records and perform a reconciliation required by the Ohio Rules of Professional Conduct. Finally, the class will address best practices for trust account management and how to recognize (and avoid) trust account scams.
Doors open at 12:30pm.
This course is approved for 3.5 hour of professional conduct CLE.
